Flower care tips:
Use clean buckets or vases. Use clean tap water and add flower food. Florists and wholesalers can use a Chrysal dosing unit, consumers can use the special flower food sackets provided by the florist.
Take care of the flowers immediately after receipt. Remove damaged leaves and excess shoots. Also remove leaves that are under the waterline, this reduces bacterial growth that may limit water uptake by the flowers. Re-cut the stems diagonally and put into water.
Refill the buckets or vases on regular basis with fresh water plus flower food. Re-cut the stems if necessary.
Keep flowers in a cool place, away from direct sunlight or heat.
